Nikhil Gala is a Senior Product Designer and Systems Architect who specializes in navigating the "ambiguous and complex" to deliver multi-billion dollar impacts. With a rare blend of Software Engineering and Product Design training, Nikhil approaches digital products as interconnected ecosystems where technical feasibility meets deep user empathy.

His career is defined by the scale of the challenges he solves. At Teranet, he led the design for SureFund, modernizing Ontario’s real estate payout system to handle over $100 Billion in annual payments with an 77% reduction in processing time. At Sun Life Financial, he directed the UX transformation of enterprise-level applications using the "One Sun" approach, driving 23% revenue growth and establishing a global, tokenized design system that cut handoff times by 30%. Nikhil’s work also extends to the national scale, where he spearheaded the design of the Canadian Dental Care Plan - the largest social program in modern Canadian history - now serving 9 million people.
